Part-Time Female Support Worker (Small Private Team)
Are you a kind, patient, and professional carer looking to make a real difference? We are looking for a fabulous person to join our dedicated team supporting a friendly, sociable, and fun-loving lady with Learning Disabilities and Autism in her own home.
We are looking for a part-time support worker to join her team of professional carers who provide one to one 24/7 high quality, person-centred support, including personal care.
The Role
This is a person-centred role where your goal is to help this lady live a safe, independent, and dignified life. You will provide 1-to-1 support, including personal care, while facilitating choices that build her skills and confidence.
This post is 24 hours per week guaranteed with relief, including potential sleepovers supporting a flexible rota providing 24-hour care.
Our aim is to create shift patterns with the minimum of change overs and disruptions to this lady so when calling on the relief team our priority is to cover the vacant shift with just one support worker.
About You
What a Typical Day Looks Like
No two days are the same! You will support this lady in her passions, which include:
- Long walks, picnics, and light exercise to promote mobility.
- Attending pottery classes, cooking groups, the gym, or swimming.
- Baking, gardening, jigsaws, crafts, listening to music, and light household chores.
