Duties

  • Prepare a variety of deli foods with precision, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
  • Engage with customers by providing friendly service, upselling products, and answering questions about menu items
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food prep areas, counters, and display cases
  • Restock deli items regularly to ensure freshness and availability for customers
  • Assist with food safety practices, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
  • Support other team members by cleaning workstations, and ensuring the overall tidiness of the deli area

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service is highly desirable
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a quick service environment
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or grocery store environment is advantageous
