Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver riding lessons tailored to individual skill levels, from beginners - intermediate
  • Ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed during lessons and riding activities
  • Provide guidance on horse handling, grooming, and care to optimise rider experience and animal welfare
  • Monitor rider progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance skills and confidence
  • Maintain the organisation and cleanliness of the riding arena and equipment
  • Foster a positive, encouraging environment that promotes confidence, respect, and enjoyment of equestrian activities
  • Assist with organising competitions, clinics, and special events as required

Skills

  • Proven experience in equestrian coaching
  • Strong teaching abilities with the capacity to adapt communication styles to diverse learners
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage lesson plans and maintain safety standards
  • Good understanding of horse behaviour, care, and management practices
  • Ability to motivate and inspire riders of all ages and abilities
  • Professional attitude with a commitment to ongoing personal development in coaching techniques and equestrian knowledge
  • experience of SEN would be beneficial

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance, Volunteer

Pay: £13.50-£25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
