Description
We’re a well-established plant hire and machinery business in Coatbridge looking for an experienced, motivated HGV Fitter to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Role
- Servicing, maintenance and repair of HGVs:
- Fault finding, diagnostics and routine inspections
- Ensuring vehicles are safe, compliant and roadworthy
- Workshop-based with some mobile work as required
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as an HGV Fitter / HGV Technician:
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
- Full UK driving licence (HGV licence an advantage but not essential)
- Good communication skills to liaise with team members and clients as needed.
- Ability to operate specialised tools safely and efficiently.
- Delivery driver experience is highly desirable, demonstrating reliability and good navigation skills.
- Physical fitness to handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy components or equipment. This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking a challenging position that combines technical expertise with driving responsibilities in a professional setting.
