LINGUA FRANCA is a collaborative creative space, complete with flexible workspace, lounge with mini-library, table-seating dining area, retail display and kitchenette.
Location: Lorong Dewan, Kota Kinabalu.
We are currently looking for team members to serve as assistants, to assist with daily opening and closing duties, general space management, and assisting with activities as necessary.
Although previous experience is ideal, we place more emphasis on enthusiasm, motivation, and willingness to learn!
Key skills required:
(a) Excellent communication skills. Proficient in English and Malay is a must. Additional languages may also be useful. Must be socially proactive, and able to carry a meaningful conversation.
(c) Flexible and able to adapt, as needed, to ever-changing work requirements. As the space consists of a few different components (lounge, retail, creative etc), our team members will need to be able to multi-task, and to be vigilant and receptive to when different tasks need to be performed.
(d) Trustworthy and reliable with cash handling and product management. Able to operate point-of-sale system and to conduct sales transactions, and to keep track of daily transactions and stock count.
