We‘re seeking a soft-spoken, kind and reliable person to assist a bright, polite, and delightful young man. He uses a specialist wheelchair and has a complex physical disability.
With your calm, caring presence, you will support the service user’s comfort, independence, and to enjoy daily life.
This role is ideal for someone who values meaningful interaction, gentle outings, and consistent, friendly hours that fit well around nursery and school routines.
About the Role
You will be:

- Confident and comfortable with driving on motorways
Driving is a key part of this role. You will be fully insured to drive the adapted vehicle, so confidence behind the wheel and a genuine passion for driving are essential.
Hours Available (Choose What Suits You Best)
Option 1: 18 Hours Per Week
- Wednesday: 09:00 - 16:30
- Friday: 09:00 - 16:30
- Saturday or Sun: 14:00 - 20:00 (Twice per month only)
Option 2: 18 Hours Per Week
- Wednesday: 09:00 - 15:00
- Friday: 09:00 - 15:00
- Saturday or Sun: 15:00 - 20:00 (Once per week)
Option 3: 16 Hours Per Week (No weekends)
- Wednesday: 09:00 - 16:30
- Friday: 09:00 - 16:30

Key Responsibilities
- Promote independence and build confidence
- Provide personal care, including toileting, bathing, and dressing
- Drive to and attend medical appointments
- Light household tasks and running errands
- Accompany on enjoyable outings, including:
- Scenic drives
- Coffee shops and garden centres
- Local attractions and seaside walks
- Festive displays and entertainment shows
