Description
We are seeking a qualified and committed teacher to deliver History at secondary level and Bahasa Melayu (BM) at primary level. The role involves teaching the GCSE and SPM History syllabi, supporting foundational BM learning for primary students, and monitoring student progress in line with curriculum standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Teach History for secondary students (GCSE and SPM).
- Teach Bahasa Melayu for primary students.
- Plan and deliver structured lessons aligned with respective curriculum requirements.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, instructional aids, and assessments.
- Assess, record, and report on students’ academic progress on a regular basis.
- Monitor individual student performance and implement corrective teaching strategies.
- Support students with differing learning needs and abilities.
- Maintain classroom discipline and set clear standards of student behaviour.
- Provide feedback and academic guidance to students and parents.
- Collaborate with academic staff, teaching assistants, and school leadership as required.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and instructional materials inventory.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience.
- Experience teaching secondary History and/or primary Bahasa Melayu preferred.
- Familiarity with GCSE and SPM History syllabi is an advantage.
- Strong classroom management, organisational, and communication skills.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
