Warehouse and Inventory Specialist

We are currently seeking a Warehouse and Inventory Specialist to be responsible for receiving, organizing, picking up, and distributing materials and inventory to support daily operations and upcoming projects. This role works closely with our Project Manager and Job Scheduler to ensure technicians have the correct materials on time while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming orders including unloading, inspecting and properly storing inventory
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and place replenishment orders as needed
• Coordinate with our Project Manager and Job Scheduler to ensure the proper materials for upcoming jobs are in stock
• Organize and maintain the main warehouse, with occasional visits to our Cobleskill and Lake George locations
• Pull supplies and materials for technician trucks each morning
• Restock unused materials returned from job sites at the end of the day
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of the warehouse and yard
• Pick up materials and parts from vendors and deliver to job sites as needed
• Operate warehouse equipment safely, including fork trucks

Key Qualifications:

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to operate a fork truck
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing, and walking throughout the workday
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Warehouse and outdoor yard environment
• Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, and standing
• Occasional travel between company locations and job sites

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
