Job Opening: Chinese (Mandarin) Language Instructor
ABC Languages is one of the nation's leading independent language schools, with locations around the country offering online and in-person group classes, school programs, corporate training, and private lessons in over 20 languages.
- You must have at least a BA or the equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching Mandarin to children.
- Native or near-native fluency in Mandarin, with a strong grasp of both language structure and cultural nuances.
- A genuine passion for teaching and sharing Chinese language and culture with children at elementary school.
- Punctuality, dedication, and a commitment to student success are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver fun, engaging and effective Mandarin lessons tailored to the students’ needs.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and levels.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and progress.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their language goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and teaching strategies.
