Night Porter (Part-Time)

The Wyatt Hotel, Westport

The Wyatt Hotel is a family-owned 3-star boutique hotel located in the heart of Westport town. Known for our warm welcome and friendly atmosphere, we are popular with both visitors and locals. Our success comes from the team behind the scenes, and we are now looking for a Part-Time Night Porter to join our close-knit team.

This role is ideal for someone reliable and customer-focused who enjoys working independently and taking responsibility during the night.

The Role:
As Night Porter, you will be responsible for the safety, comfort, and security of our guests while also preparing the hotel for the following day.

Working hours: Approximately 11:00pm to 7:00am

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the security of the hotel and guests throughout the night
  • Maintaining cleanliness of public and external areas
  • Answering telephone calls and assisting guests as required
  • Providing a friendly and professional level of customer service
  • Serving drinks in the bar when necessary
  • Setting up public areas and preparing the hotel for the next day
  • Responding to guest needs during the night shift

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. An intermediate level of English is essential.

Additional Information

  • Part-time position (3 or 4 days typically)
  • Night shift: 11:00pm to 7:00am

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: €14.40-€15.20 per hour
