Accumed, Dubai is actively Hiring for the role of Principal Backend Engineer (Remotely working from Egypt)

Role: Technical Lead / Principal Backend Engineer

Location: [Remote]

Reporting to: CTO / Engineering Manager

Role Summary: Lead the backend architecture for our Health Claim Management Solution, enforcing Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecture & Standards Enforcement: Clean Architecture, SOLID principles & Constructor-Based Dependency Injection:

  • Core Development (Hands-on):

  • API & Integration Design:

  • Testing Strategy:

  • Mentorship:
    Skill Requirements:

  • Experience: 8+ years in Java development, with 3+ years leading teams in a Spring Boot environment.

  • Technical Mastery:Java Spring Boot 3+** and Spring Data JPA. Experience with Vector Databases (integration patterns).
  • Quality Focus: Obsession with code quality, static analysis (SonarQube), and automated testing patterns.
  • Database: Advanced SQL knowledge (PostgreSQL preferred) a
  • Documentation:OpenAPI/Swagger** documentation and JavaDoc.
