Job Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable, organized, and customer-focused Pokémon & TCG Retail Associate to work full-time in our store. This role combines customer service, sales, inventory management, and card buying.

You will be a key part of daily operations and trusted to help evaluate cards, assist customers, and maintain a high-quality shop experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to collectors, players, and walk-in customers
  • Assist customers with Pokémon TCG products, singles, sealed items, and graded cards
  • Buy Pokémon cards and collections for the shop, including:

  • Assessing card condition, rarity, demand, and market value
  • Identifying desirable cards, sets, and sealed products
  • Stay up to date on Pokémon TCG trends, pricing, and market movements
  • Organize, sort, and maintain inventory efficiently
  • Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing
  • Assist with opening/closing procedures and daily store operations
  • Support sales goals and help drive repeat business

Required Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Pokémon TCG (sets, cards, rarities, values, grading basics)
  • Familiarity with Pokémon card pricing and market trends
  • Retail or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, efficient, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable making buying decisions for the shop
  • Ability to work full-time, including weekends if needed
  • Passion for Pokémon and trading cards is a must

Preferred (But Not Required)

  • Knowledge of grading companies (PSA, CGC, BGS)
  • Experience with other TCGs (One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, MTG, etc.)

How to Apply

Bonus:  Include a short note explaining your experience with Pokémon cards or the TCG market.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
