HR Generalist

Our Roxboro, Limerick based client seeks a HR Generalist to join the team. You will be responsible for providing full-cycle Human Resources support, by managing all HR processes from end to end, from administrative to strategic. This will include executing their people initiatives, providing great internal support and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.

The salary noted is pro rata so rate will be approx 25k-30k for 20 hours per week.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the lead point of contact for day-to-day HR support (15+ people) including but not limited to employee relations, communication, support, and compliance
  • Utilises HR experience to support organisational development/ change management initiatives and employee engagement.
  • Creates, implements, and evaluates/updates HR policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Manages recruitment processes (advertising, selection, job offers, reference checking and onboarding.
  • Co-ordinate’s performance reviews and training and development plans.
  • Provides coaching and mentoring support to managers on a range of people and performance topics.
  • Supports the design and development of key HR initiatives.
  • Leads grievance and disciplinary investigations, meetings, hearings, and appeals.
  • Maintains compliance with employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices.
  • Ensures that employee records are fully compliant, up to date and monitored in line with GDPR and Employment Law legislation.
  • Creates and maintains reports and data as required.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes in human resources and employment law.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in a HR Generalist role
  • Degree in Human Resources
  • Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD)
  • In depth knowledge of Irish employment law.
