Health & Safety Officer - Construction
Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Support the site and safety management teams in implementing company health & safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain H&S documentation, including RAMS, safety plans, induction records, and statutory compliance documentation.
- Conduct on-site inductions and ensure all mandatory training remains up to date.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate site-specific risks in line with best practice and Irish legislation.
- Carry out routine safety inspections, audits, and reporting.
- Facilitate toolbox talks and participate in regular safety meetings.
- Work closely with the project team to promote a strong and consistent safety culture.
Requirements:
- A relevant Health & Safety qualification (Certificate/Diploma or equivalent).
- Experience within Irish construction market in a health & safety role. 6mths+
- Strong communication, organisational, and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a busy site environment.
- Full, clean driving licence.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €35,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
