The Federation of the European Sporting Goods Industry (FESI) is the association representing the interests of the sporting goods industry in Europe, advancing its members’ priorities and promoting initiatives that benefit the sector, EU citizens and the society as a whole. Duration:1 year fixed-term contract CDD**(possibility to extend into a permanent contract CDI)

Starting date: March 2026

Location: Brussels

Profile:

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience, preferably in a European association, consultancy, NGO or institutional environment
  • Excellent written and spoken French and English (Dutch is an asset)
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a small, international team
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and logístical support for FESI governance bodies (Board, General Assembly, committees) and external activities (events, conferences, meetings).
  • Support day-to-day financial administration, including bookkeeping and liaison with external service providers.
  • Manage agendas, coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements, and organise internal meetings of the Secretariat.
  • Provide administrative support to HR-related processes, including coordination and follow-up tasks.
  • Act as a primary administrative contact for suppliers and service providers, ensuring effective coordination and contract follow-up.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the office, including document management, filing systems, procurement of office supplies, and general office coordination.
  • Support other FESI staff members with administrative procedures and the preparation of documents related to the submission and implementation of EU projects relevant to the sporting goods industry.
