We are recruiting an experienced, self-motivated Clinical Nurse Manager to lead and inspire our committed multidisciplinary team on Hawthorn Ward.
Hawthorn Ward is a high-performing surgical unit specialising in the care of patients undergoing liver, pancreatic, bowel, and complex abdominal surgeries, providing a dynamic and rewarding clinical environment.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Registered on the General Division of the Register of Nurses maintained by the NMBI
- Minimum of 5 years' post-registration experience in an acute clinical setting
- Demonstrated high standards of clinical and professional practice
- Strong IT competence with proficiency in relevant clinical and administrative systems
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and adaptable
- Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure
- Clear commitment to ongoing professional development
- Ability to engage and collaborate with staff at all levels across the organisation
Desirable:
- Recognised qualification or specialist experience in surgical nursing
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in a management or leadership role
- Completion of a recognised management training programme
