Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Teach engaging and challenging lessons in IB English A: Language and Literature, IGCSE First Language English, and English at the Cambridge Lower Secondary level.
- Foster critical thinking, creativity, and appreciation for literature and language.
- Develop and assess student work in alignment with IB and Cambridge standards.
- Contribute to curriculum development and participate in collaborative planning with the English department.
- Support the holistic development of students within an inclusive, international community.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in English, English Education, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification and a minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience.
- Experience teaching IB Diploma and/or IGCSE programmes preferred.
- A demonstrated commitment to inquiry-based learning, student well-being, and intercultural understanding.
- Excellent written and spoken English required.
