On behalf of our Client — a company operating in the renewable energy sector, forming part of an international construction group and delivering investment projects across both B2B and B2C segments — we are currently seeking an experienced professional for the position of:
Financial Reporting and Controlling Specialist (M/F)

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting
- Independently preparing regular financial reports (monthly, quarterly and annual) for internal management purposes as well as group reporting.
- Consolidating, verifying and reconciling financial data from multiple sources, including systems, the general ledger and reporting tools.Ensuring accuracy, consistency and high quality of financial data across all reporting outputs.
Controlling and Financial Analysis
- Analyzing financial performance, costs and profitability across projects and operational activities.
- Conducting variance analysis: budget vs actuals vs forecast.
- Actively participating in budgeting and forecasting processes, including calculations, summaries and scenario analysis.Preparing financial analyses that support informed business decision-making (costs, margins, KPIs).
Process Improvement / Tools / Automation
- Developing reporting tools and driving automation of reporting and analytical processes
- Optimizing and standardizing reports to improve efficiency, transparency and data quality.Demonstrating a proactive mindset towards building new reporting solutions, including data integration and working with large datasets.
Cooperation with Accounting
- Supporting the Accounting team during the month-end close and in reconciling financial data.Collaborating to enhance data quality and align financial processes across the organization.
Requirements:
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
- At least 2-3 years of professional experience in controlling, financial reporting or financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and reporting standards.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- High level of independence, accountability and excellent organizational skills.
- Openness to building new tools and continuously improving financial processes.Very good command of English, enabling effective communication in an international environment
Nice to Have
- Experience working with large datasets and integrating data from multiple sources.
- Practical knowledge of SQL (queries, joins, aggregations).
- Experience with BI toolsExperience working with ERP systems
