An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at Ryder & Dutton as a Full Time Interbranch Valuer. The role will initially be based at our Rochdale branch undertaking valuations 2-3 days per week, the remaining days will be used to provide valuation support to our other branches in and around the Rochdale/Oldham area.
Previous experience of property valuations is essential as you will need to be able to hit the ground running. You will have a minimum of 12 months experience of undertaking residential market appraisals on a regular basis.
The main focus of the Valuer role will be generating instructions by carrying out as many market appraisals as possible as well as following up of appointments to win business and to cross sell our additional services, such as conveyancing, mortgage services etc.
There are plenty of opportunities to earn uncapped commission in this role.
You must have your own vehicle available for use and this must be insured for business use.
You must have a good knowledge of Rochdale and Oldham and the surrounding areas alongside relevant valuation experience.
You will need:
- A passion for property & people
- A minimum of 1 years relevant Valuer experience

- An enthusiastic & high energy approach to work
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good IT literacy
Salary £27,500- £40,000 OTE
