Disability Support Workers - Female (Subcontractors)

Girasole Support is seeking one female Disability Support Workers to join our team on a subcontracting basis. These roles offer regular hours, strong support, and clear expectations within a values-driven organisation.
We are seeking a calm, patient, and emotionally attuned support worker to provide low-pressure, relationship-based support to a lovely woman in her 30s living in Nerang.
Available Roles
We are recruiting for
- Nerang:
- Thursday - 3 hours
- Potentially some non face-to-face support
About the Role
You will be supporting participant in their home and communities, assisting with:
- gentle companionship and conversation
- basic meal preparation (simple, home-style meals)
- encouragement around confidence and goals (without pressure)
- gradual exposure to community activities only when the participant feels ready
You will be supported and guided by Girasole Support and provided with clear expectations and communication. You will have lived or working experience with supporting persons living with mental health.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Female support worker (participant preference)
- ABN (subcontracting role)

Ability to complete clear and accurate shift notes:
Reliability, professionalism, and strong communication skills

Job Type: Subcontract
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
