Announcement:
In June 2025, LYB announced entering into an agreement and exclusive negotiations for the sale of four olefins & polyolefins sites and the associated business in Europe. The sites to be sold are located in Berre (France), Münchsmünster (Germany), Carrington (UK), and Tarragona (Spain). The sites together represent a scaled olefins and polyolefins platform strategically located in proximity to a longstanding customer base and with access and connectivity to key infrastructure.
Closing of the proposed transaction is currently expected in the first half of 2026. From the start, the new company will be a scaled leader in European Olefins & Polyolefins. Powered by strategically located assets, a diverse product portfolio, and operational excellence, it aims to transform the business, fostering an agile, entrepreneurial culture where fast decision-making and hands-on collaboration drive transformation and growth.

You will be crucial to a successful transition and, when the sale is closed, success of the new company. You will become part of a new dynamic organization with around 1,800 employees, headquarters in Rotterdam and production sites in France, Germany, UK and Spain with a strong focus on customer excellence.

This is the role:
As the Customer Fulfillment Manager Polymers you will be responsible of leading and motivating an European based Customer Fulfilment team of approximately 20 people, to provide our customers with excellent service in a manner that is efficient and cost effective. You will have to develop and implement our company strategies to deliver superior service to the external and internal customers by working with the sales and business organization to understand customer needs and using this as a base to build an effective, efficient and responsive organization using standardized processes to achieve these aims.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Develops, leads and integrates a team of multi-national and multi-cultural staff ensuring the team is highly effective; individuals are motivated and positioned to realize their potential.
  • Delivers highest quality service to customers in Europe by handling customer requests in a timely and professional manner. Ensure long term value creation for the company while increasing customer satisfaction: Supports customer engagement projects, analyzing feedback and defining improvement plans to better align to customer needs and sustain competitive differentiation.
  • Develops strong relationships with key stakeholders (customers, business, HR, SC, Finance, etc) and builds an effective network Operate as quickly and effectively as possible in achieving targets.
  • Builds skills and injects talent to accelerate innovate/lateral thinking. Creates a culture that nurtures and rewards creativity and innovation; Challenges the organization to generate and implement breakthrough ideas and solutions Confronts “status quo” thinking
  • Working with the Polymers sales and business organizations develops, agrees and implements strategies and policies for Customer Services in Europe that deliver high quality service to our customers.
  • Initiates, drives and supports improvement initiatives in line with strategy and guidelines Ensure continuous innovation in services and processes, be result oriented and get best return on resources.
  • Ensures a consistent and effective execution of the order to cash process Maximize the total value creation for the business.
  • Streamline and standardize any different Customer Service business processes post Day 1.
  • Manage and updating Pricing process, systems, tools, reports; enhance processes to make most of efficiencies and ensure timely response to market conditions. Responsible for testing and training for new systems implementation.
  • Must be able to develop and maintain relationships with key business leaders and be a key thought leader.
  • Indirectly, via the Trade Compliance team, in this role you will interface with the Supply Chain organization, Corporate Compliance, Product specialists, Procurement, Legal in addition to many external trade partners such as customs authorities and custom brokers on all matters pertaining to trade compliance.
