About Us
We are a Singapore-based boutique intellectual property consultancy with a strong international client base across the U.S. and Asia. Our practice focuses on U.S. trademark prosecution, portfolio management, clearance, and practical IP strategy for growth-stage companies and internationally expanding brands.
We are seeking a U.S.qualified attorney, currently based in Singapore, to support our U.S. trademark work on a part-time, flexible, and long-term basis.
This role is particularly well-suited for stay-home professionals, trailing spouses, or attorneys not currently in full-time practice who have availability and are seeking meaningful, ongoing professional engagement while maintaining flexibility.
Time Commitment
- Up to 60 hours per month
- Work is distributed steadily (not ad hoc or urgent-heavy)
- Hours may vary month to month but will remain within the stated cap
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and responding to routine USPTO Office Actions (training provided where required)
- Conducting trademark clearance searches and registrability assessments
- Assisting with U.S. trademark portfolio management and maintenance filings
- Supporting U.S. trademark advisory work and client communications
- Coordinating U.S. trademark matters with foreign counsel, as required
- Supporting opposition-related matters under supervision (where applicable)
- Handling light copyright and general IP advisory work, as needed
Requirements:
- U.S.qualified attorney admitted to at least one U.S. state bar
- Prior U.S. trademark experience preferred but not mandatory
- Currently based in Singapore and able to work remotely
- Strong legal drafting, research, and written communication skills
- Reliable, responsive, and comfortable managing deadlines independently
- Seeking a stable, long-term part-time role (not short-term, freelance, or ad hoc work)
Nice to Have
- Experience in a boutique IP firm or in-house IP role
- Exposure to USPTO trademark prosecution or portfolio management
- Experience working with startups, founders, or brand-driven businesses
- Prior involvement in IP disputes or oppositions (supporting role)
Training & Compensation
- Compensation will be commensurate with experience, capability, and level of independence
