Description
We are seeking skilled and experienced Welders to join our construction project team. The Welder will be responsible for performing high-quality welding works on structural steel, piping systems, and other construction components in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding activities including SMAW, MIG, TIG, and FCAW as per project requirements.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Prepare, cut, and align metal components prior to welding.
- Ensure proper setup and maintenance of welding equipment.
- Conduct visual inspection of welds to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
- Repair and rework defective welds as required.
- Follow all site safety regulations and HSE guidelines.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades on site.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Welder in construction projects.
- Experience in structural steel and/or piping welding.
- Valid welding certification (preferred).
- Ability to work from technical drawings and specifications.
- Good knowledge of safety procedures and use of PPE.
- Physically fit and able to work in demanding site conditions.
- GCC experience is an advantage.
