Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and plans using AutoCAD or other relevant software.
- Coordinate with electrical engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure designs meet project requirements.
- Review and update existing electrical drawings and documentation as required.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations (Saudi Arabian standards preferred).
- Assist in preparing material take-offs, layouts, and shop drawings for electrical systems.
- Support site teams with clarifications on drawings and electrical installations.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and technical documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman in building construction projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
- Good understanding of electrical systems, wiring layouts, lighting, power distribution, and earthing.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabia’s electrical standards and codes is an advantage.
