What you’ll do as Cook II:
- Perform preparation tasks such as washing and cutting vegetables and preparing rice and noodle dishes, working together with a kitchen team of about 8 colleagues under the supervision of the head chef.
- Prepare and cook dishes according to the head chef’s recipes and perform interim quality and hygiene checks.
- Finish and check dishes before they are sent out, after which the service staff takes them for delivery or serving.
- Clean your work area, kitchen equipment, and machines daily before closing, assist the kitchen helper with cleaning the entire kitchen, and help store delivered goods.
- Be a strong team player with a flexible attitude and good communication skills.
- Contribute to quality improvement, menu optimization, and the development of recipes and preparation instructions.
- Preferred qualifications: MBO-2 level (or equivalent) education, with knowledge and experience in basic cooking techniques.
What we offer you:
- A gross salary between €2,500 - €3,000 based on a 38-hour work week, according to the Dutch Hospitality CAO, including 25 vacation days and 8% holiday allowance.
