Archivist

Our client, a well-established Singapore-based organization, is seeking an Archivist to join their Culture and Engagement team to manage archival policies, preserve key artefacts, lead educational programs, and craft engaging stories for their gallery and community outreach.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and maintain archival policies and procedures in line with industry standards.
  • Organise, catalogue, and preserve physical and digital records and artefacts.
  • Conduct research and create clear, engaging content for exhibitions and storytelling initiatives.
  • Plan and run education, outreach, and engagement programmes.
  • Manage projects and work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

  • Degree in Arts, History, Archival Science, or a related field with at least 8-10 years of experience in archival management.
  • Strong knowledge of archival standards, methods, and best practices for both physical and digital preservation.
  • Proven project management skills, including experience in curation or exhibition work.
  • Excellent writing, analytical, presentation, and collaboration skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
