Description
Nancy Hands, bar and restaurant near Phoenix park, is now hiring a full-time Assistant General Manager.
Requirements:
- This role is an assistant to General Manager, but with focus on restaurant & events.
- Experience in working in a restaurant and bar essential - seating customers, taking orders, operating standard POS system, serving food and drinks.
- Experience in preparing drinks behind the bar including pouring pints is necessary for closing shifts.
- Oversee performance of floor staff, contribute to staff training and performance improvements.
- Supervise and take ownership of the FOH in absence of the General Manager.
- Running shifts, opening/closing shifts with cashing-up, closing procedures, and locking up, reporting.
- Oversee inhouse catering events.
- Ability to deal with difficult customers.
- Written and spoken fluency in English.
- Excellent communication skills and dedication to customer service.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Must have a good working attitude, flexibility and initiative.
Must have a valid work permit, and be legally permitted to work in Ireland on a full-time basis.
Salary depends on experience.
