We are currently hiring a Maintenance Technician to join a high-performing, team-based manufacturing environment in Shanbally, Cork.

This position ensures Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Facilities equipment and instrumentation are maintained and operated in a calibrated state to support cGMP activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively maintain process, utility, and facility equipment in line with cGMP regulations, safety standards, SOPs, and reliability initiatives:
Perform maintenance, fault-finding, and troubleshooting activities:
Coordinate and manage external vendor support in a GMP-compliant manner
- Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and safety incidents
Ensure electrical, process, and utility systems remain in a validated and controlled state:
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture:
Record maintenance activities in the CMMS system:
Respond to critical utility alarms:
Maintain documentation in compliance with cGMP requirements:
Support effective spare parts and contract management:
Operate within Permit to Work and other safety systems:
Participate in HAZOP and design reviews
Education & Experience
- Relevant third-level qualification in Engineering or a time-served apprenticeship
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a GMP-regulated environment:
- Experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing,drug product fill finish, or packaging is highly desirable
