We are partnering with a well-established construction and interior fit-out company delivering high-quality commercial and residential projects across Ireland to appoint a proactive Health & Safety Adviser.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated H&S professional with a minimum of two years’ experience in Irish construction to step into a visible, hands-on role within a growing business. The position offers broad exposure across active sites and head office operations, combining core health & safety advisory responsibilities with oversight of office and site facilities to ensure safe, compliant and well-maintained working environments.
The Role
- Lead health & safety compliance across commercial and residential construction projects
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and ensure adherence to Irish legislation
- Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and practical safety training
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
- Maintain safety documentation including safety statements and risk registers
- Oversee office and site facilities to ensure safe, clean, and well-maintained environments
- Act as Company First Aider and Fire Warden
- Partner with project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors to embed best practice
About You
- Minimum 2 years’ H&S experience within Irish construction (commercial and residential)
- Relevant qualification in Occupational Health & Safety (or related discipline)
- Strong knowledge of Irish construction safety regulations
- Confident communicator with a proactive, solution-focused approach
- IOSH qualification desirable
