Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Flexible schedule with site-based responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce workplace safety standards across energy and resource projects
- Conduct risk assessments and safety audits regularly
- Develop and implement safety policies and training programs
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and international safety standards
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and site supervisors to maintain safe operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience as a Safety Officer (energy, construction, or industrial projects preferred)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent safety certifications
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
