About the role

The Meta Ads Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid advertising campaigns on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) to support organizational objectives in awareness, fundraising, and community engagement. This role requires a performance-driven mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate campaign insights into impactful digital strategies that align with the NGO’s mission and communication goals.

What you'll be doing

  • Plan, launch, and manage Meta advertising campaigns for awareness, engagement, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Define campaign objectives, audience targeting, budgets, and bidding strategies to achieve optimal performance
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize ads based on key metrics such as CPC, CTR, CPA, conversions, and ROAS
  • Conduct A/B testing on creatives, copy, audiences, and placements to improve campaign effectiveness
  • Analyze campaign data and prepare regular performance reports with insights and recommendations
  • Track user behaviour and conversions using Meta Pixel and other tracking tools
  • Work closely with content, design, and communications teams to develop compelling, mission-aligned ad creatives and messaging
  • Contribute to audience segmentation and funnel strategies for different donor and community segments
  • Stay updated on Meta Ads trends, platform updates, and best practices, particularly in the non-profit and humanitarian sector
  • Identify opportunities to scale successful campaigns and improve digital fundraising outcomes

What we're looking for

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience managing Meta Ads or paid social media campaigns
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
  • Proven experience using Meta Ads Manager, Business Manager, and Pixel tracking
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics and performance optimization (CPC, CTR, CPA, ROAS)
  • Experience with basic analytics tools (e.g., GA4) is an advantage
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Creative thinking with a performance-oriented approach
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines effectively

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,400.00 per month
