Supply Chain Executive - Job Description

A Supply Chain Executive manages the flow of goods from suppliers to customers. It’s a mix of planning, coordination, and problem-solving.

Key responsibilities

Plan and monitor inventory levels

Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and warehouses

Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery

Prepare documents (invoices, shipping, customs clearance)

Handle procurement (purchasing materials/products)

Analyze costs and find ways to reduce expenses

Use ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)

Resolve delivery delays, stock issues, or damages

Skills required

Strong Excel & reporting skills

Knowledge of logistics & shipping processes

Communication & negotiation skills

Problem-solving under pressure

Basic understanding of customs + import/export.
