Description
We are seeking a Senior Strategy Consultant to lead and deliver high‑impact strategic initiatives for our clients (or internal business units). In this role, you will diagnose complex business problems, design actionable strategies, and support implementation to drive growth, efficiency, and transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior stakeholders (C‑suite, directors, or business leaders) to define strategic priorities, challenges, and success criteria.
- Lead end‑to‑end strategy projects, including problem framing, work‑plan design, data gathering, analysis, and recommendation development.
- Conduct in‑depth market analysis, competitive benchmarking, scenario planning, and financial modeling to support strategic decision‑making.
- Develop clear, insight‑driven reports, presentations, and dashboards tailored to executive audiences.
- Facilitate workshops, strategy sessions, and stakeholder alignment meetings to build consensus and secure buy‑in.
- Mentor and guide junior consultants and analysts on project delivery, analytical rigor, and client communication.
- Support business development by contributing to proposals, case studies, and pitches for new strategy engagements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies relevant to your focus sectors (e.g., energy, finance, government, retail, etc.).
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or a similar strategic advisory role.
- Proven track record of leading strategy projects such as growth strategies, market entry, operational transformation, M&A support, or digital‑strategy initiatives.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and preferably data‑visualization or BI tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills in English (Arabic is a plus, especially for roles in Oman).
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize under pressure, and work effectively in cross‑functional teams.
- Client‑facing experience and strong relationship‑management skills.
Preferred Skills (if applicable)
- Experience in one or more of the following sectors: energy & utilities, financial services, government/public sector, logistics, or retail.
- Familiarity with strategy frameworks (e.g., SWOT, Porter’s Five Forces, Porter’s Generic Strategies, value‑chain analysis).
- Experience with project management tools or methodologies and working in matrixed or matrix‑like organizations.

Pay: RO20.000 - RO28.000 per hour
