Job Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Logistics Director to lead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations. This role is responsible for overseeing transportation, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery while driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution
- Develop and execute logistics and supply chain strategies aligned with business goals
- Oversee inventory management, demand planning, and fulfillment processes
- Monitor logistics performance metrics (delivery time, cost efficiency, service levels)
- Optimize logistics networks, routes, and processes to improve efficiency
- Manage budgets, cost control, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations and safety standards
- Lead, mentor, and manage logistics managers, warehouse teams, and operations staff
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and logistics partners
- Implement and improve systems (WMS, TMS, ERP) to enhance operations
- Analyze data and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- 10-15+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations
- 5+ years of leadership or director-level experience
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, distribution, and transportation
- Experience with logistics systems (WMS, TMS, ERP)
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage complex, multi-site operations
Pay: RO4,400.000 per month
