Description
A Cabin Crew member is responsible for passenger safety, comfort, and service during flights. At Oman Air, the role is considered both customer service and safety-critical aviation work.
Core Responsibilities:
Passenger Safety (Most Important Duty)
Demonstrate safety procedures before takeoff
Ensure passengers follow aviation safety rules
Assist during emergencies (turbulence, evacuation, medical cases)
Administer basic first aid when needed
- In-Flight Service_
Serve meals, snacks, and beverages
Assist passengers during the flight
Ensure comfort in economy and business class
Handle special requests (medical, dietary, children, etc.)
Customer Service
Greet passengers and assist during boarding
Help with seating and baggage issues
Handle complaints professionally
Maintain a positive airline image
Pre-Flight & Post-Flight Duties
Attend briefing with pilots and crew
Check cabin equipment and safety kits
Prepare cabin before passengers board
Complete post-flight reports
Teamwork & Discipline
Work closely with pilots and cabin team
Follow strict airline procedures
Maintain grooming and uniform standards
Handle long shifts and international travel schedules
