Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Mental Health Director to lead and oversee mental health programs and services. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality care, managing clinical teams, maintaining compliance with regulations, and driving initiatives that support mental wellness and patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of mental health programs and services
- Lead, supervise, and support clinical staff, including psychologists, counselors, and therapists
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, ethical standards, and organizational policies
- Develop treatment protocols, care plans, and service delivery standards
- Monitor program effectiveness and patient outcomes, implementing improvements as needed
- Manage budgets, resources, and operational planning for mental health services
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and stakeholders
- Handle complex or escalated cases and provide clinical guidance
- Promote mental health awareness and wellness initiatives
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting in line with legal requirements
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Psychiatry, Social Work, or a related field
- Valid professional license (e.g., Psychologist, Psychiatrist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
- 8-12+ years of experience in mental health services or clinical practice
- 3-5+ years of leadership or managerial experience
- Strong knowledge of mental health regulations, treatment models, and best practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
Pay: RO4,300.000 per month
