- Description
SAIC is seeking a Network Administrator for a deployable C4I system based in Bahrain.
Job Responsibilities:
- Advise on management and maintenance of switches, routers, firewalls, VPN gateways, VoIP telephones, VTC, and INE devices.
- Developing high-quality documentation with mínimal guidance that is coherent and easy to follow as well as complies with corresponding standard, style guide, and/or directive and meets the customers' and end users' needs. Documentation includes but is not limited to Technical Manuals (TMs), Test Plans, Maintenance Plans, Job Aids, Capabilities Briefs, and other instructional and guidance documentation.
- Interpret engineering and maintenance drawings, operational procedures to understand and blend large quantities of computer related information.
- Creating and manipulating charts, diagrams, etc. to be included in documentation.
- Researching, collecting, analyzing, organizing, and preparing technical information and data.
- Editing technical documentation for format, accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to government specifications.
- Use multiple word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio etc.
- Scheduling, attending, and participating in project meetings, review meetings, and validation/verification events.
- Creating and maintaining trackers for developing, planning, and scheduling purposes.
- Maintain inventories of network and communications devices and equipment.
- Serve as SME for deployment of tactical enclaves for exercises or contingency environments as needed.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelors and two (2) years’ experience; Masters and zero (0) years’ experience; four (4) years’ experience accepted in lieu of degree.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with configuration and troubleshooting of routing, routing protocols, ACLs, firmware upgrades, DHCP.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and configure networks, routers, switches, firewalls, VoIP, and connectivity.- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.

Must be willing to relocate to work site location if not a current resident for at least one (1) year. May include additional travel up to 20%.
