About This Opportunity:
TReporting to the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager, the Shunter drives the shunt truck, attached trailers, and moves trailers around the yard, to and from loading docks as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive shunt truck and attach trailers.
  • Connect shunt truck to trailer, drive trailer to bay followed by trailer detachment.
  • Connect/Disconnect air lines, maneuver jack stands and power chocks into position, and engage trailer dolly via crank.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of general work experience required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Position is available by seniority
  • Physical requirements include frequent sitting, with occasional walking and standing.
