The Logistics Mandate Operating out of the Al Farwaniyah Industrial Area, Chiller Van Tech is seeking a Logistics Software Dispatcher to manage the digital coordination of our temperature-controlled fleet. This is a high-pressure role for a professional who understands that in cold-chain logistics, timing and temperature are everything. You will be responsible for the real-time synchronization of delivery schedules, vehicle telematics, and driver communication to ensure every asset reaches its destination within strict climate parameters.
Operational DNA & Impact Areas
- Fleet Dispatch Governance: Lead the real-time monitoring and routing of our chiller van fleet using specialized dispatch software, ensuring 100% adherence to delivery windows.
- Cold-Chain Integrity Monitoring: Oversee the digital tracking of temperature sensors across the fleet, executing immediate corrective actions if climate thresholds are breached.
- Route Optimization & Efficiency: Utilize geospatial data to design the most efficient delivery paths, minimizing fuel consumption and reducing idle time in high-traffic Al Farwaniyah corridors.
- Telematics Reporting: Generate detailed daily logs on vehicle performance, driver behavior, and temperature consistency for the operations director.
Professional Profile
- Field Experience: 3+ years of experience in logistics coordination, fleet dispatching, or transportation IT, preferably within the food, pharmaceutical, or perishables sector.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong familiarity with GPS tracking platforms, Fleet Management Systems (FMS), and mobile communication apps.
- Language Standards: C2-level professional English is required for technical coordination and reporting.
- Asynchronous Coordination: Proficiency in using Loom to record shift handovers and technical briefings for the night-shift dispatch teams.
