We are looking for a confident, knowledgeable registered Social Worker with strong safeguarding expertise and sound professional judgement.
  • This role will be offered on a full-time, permanent basis and includes an expectation to work from our Time Square office or hospitals 3 - 4 days per week, alongside flexible working arrangements.

About you...:

  • As a Safeguarding Social Worker in Adult Social Care, you will undertake S42 enquiries, assess risk and mental capacity and work collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard adults at risk. We are looking for a registered Social Worker with strong safeguarding knowledge, confident decision-making skills and a commitment to person-centred, strengths-based practice.

About the team...:

  • Based at Time Square in Bracknell, our Hospital Team and Front Door Hub are supportive, fast-paced services where no two days are the same. As a Safeguarding Social Worker, you will work alongside experienced practitioners and partner agencies to respond promptly, share information effectively and make proportionate, defensible decisions. We value curiosity, resilience and reflective practice and offer regular supervision alongside a strong commitment to learning and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities...:

  • You will undertake safeguarding enquires, whilst maintaining people’s choice and control, empowering adults within a risk enablement and strengths-based approach.
  • You will have a thorough understanding, knowledge and experience of working within the adult safeguarding arena, including: S42 enquires, Making Safeguarding Personal and the Care Act (2014).
  • You will complete safeguarding work within the timeframe and guidance provide by Bracknell Forest Council.
  • You will coordinate and work effectively with the ward/MDT and family by providing professional advice in a timely manner to support hospital discharge.
  • You will conduct risk assessments and manage safeguarding alerts.
