Description
Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, the incumbent will form part of the Human Resources Department, the incumbent will be based at the Dudfield plant in the North-West.
- Providing an integrated HR service across the HR functional areas
- Supporting and guiding management on the implementation of policies and procedures
- Supporting management to ensure good IR practices and employee relations
- Facilitating the execution of Social and Labour Plans relating to HRD, DMRE reporting and participating in stakeholder engagements
- Ensuring a high standard of HR administration and HR reporting in the region
- Facilitating individual and regional organisational development activities to develop individual competence and build organisational capacity
- Ensuring compliance to all relevant legislation
- Facilitating the AfriSam Way culture in area of responsibility
- Providing regional HR information into the HR Group consolidated reporting and compliance submissions
Qualifications, skills, knowledge and experience required:
- Grade 12
- Degree related to Human Resources Management
- 3-5 years’ generalist HR experience at a fully professional level
- Proficient user, SAP HR and Microsoft Office,
- Thorough understanding of the HR administration requirements and good business acumen
- Good knowledge of change management, HR Statutory legislation and people management processes
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, conflict management and interviewing skills
- Ability to solve problems, driving for results, customer focused and high working standards.
- Valid driver’s license.
