Job Title: PGT Psychology Teacher (Honorarium Basis)

Location: SALTLAKE

Job Summary

The Psychology Teacher on Honorarium Basis will be responsible for teaching Psychology to ISC students (Classes XI & XII), ensuring effective curriculum delivery, conceptual understanding, and examination preparation. The teacher will support students academically through interactive teaching methodologies, project guidance, and regular assessments as per CISCE standards.

Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Psychology.:

  • B.Ed. mandatory.:

  • Prior experience in teaching ISC Psychology preferred.:

  • Strong understanding of CISCE curriculum and board examination pattern.


Key Responsibilities

Academic Responsibilities

  • Teach Psychology to ISC Classes XI and XII as per the CISCE curriculum.
  • Prepare lesson plans, notes, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
  • Conduct engaging and interactive classroom sessions.
  • Guide students in project work, practical assignments, and board examination preparation.
  • Evaluate answer scripts and provide academic feedback to students.
  • Ensure timely completion of syllabus and revision schedules.

Student Development

  • Support students in understanding psychological concepts and case studies.
  • Maintain a positive and motivating classroom environment.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintain attendance and academic records related to assigned classes.
  • Participate in examinations, evaluation work, and departmental activities as assigned.
  • Attend meetings or academic discussions when required by the school authorities.
  • Follow institutional rules, academic guidelines, and reporting procedures.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective classroom management abilities.
  • Ability to engage senior secondary students.
  • Basic computer and smart classroom handling skills.
