Key Responsibilities
- Handle commercial activities related to shipping agency services, vessel operations, and customer accounts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with ship owners, charterers, principals, port authorities, and logistics partners.
- Prepare quotations, service agreements, and commercial proposals for clients.
- Coordinate with operations team on vessel schedules, port calls, cargo handling, and documentation.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and business opportunities within the shipping and maritime sector.
- Ensure smooth communication between clients, port operators, and internal departments.
- Follow up on customer inquiries, operational issues, and service performance.
- Maintain accurate records of commercial transactions and customer data.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, port regulations, and maritime industry standards.
Requirements:
2. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are an advantage.
Experience dealing with port authorities and shipping principals.
Knowledge of local and international shipping regulations.
Strong customer service and business development capabilities.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
