Purchasing / Category (Buyer) Executive

To manage the product category or range and be responsible for the pricing and overall promotion of that product or service.
- To plan and develop strategies for the product categories and exit strategies for unsuccessful products.

Job Responsibilities: -

  • To increase sales for the category.
  • Sourcing products that suitable for market needs.
  • To develop strong working relationships with buying, marketing and merchandising teams.
  • To develop strategic long term plan for the development of the category.
  • To analyze, develop and implement effective promotion programs in line with company strategy.
  • To plan and develop strategies for the product categories and exit strategies for unsuccessful products.
  • Conduct relevant data analysis on best sellers, product performance and recommend action plan.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirement: -

  • At least 3 year(s) of buying experience preferable in F&B or retail industry.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin (optional).
  • Able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
  • Result-oriented, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
