Job Overview
Duties
- Perform visual inspections of printed sheets and finished products to identify imperfections.
- Detect color variations and inconsistencies within graphics and printed materials.
- Inspect products for quality issues related to printing, foil stamping, embossing, die cutting, and gluing.
- Perform final inspections prior to product release.
- Complete quality audit reports and maintain inspection documentation.
- Create and maintain Color Standard Books.
- Conduct testing such as rub tests and shaker tests.
- Verify that samples, loads, and products are correctly marked, tagged, and labeled.
- Ensure marked or rejected products are properly segregated and flagged.
- Inspect quarantined product when required.
- Assist the Quality Manager with data collection, ISO documentation, and other quality initiatives as needed.
- Communicate with employees when work instructions or quality procedures are not being followed.
- Review and understand work orders for each production area.
Skills
- Must pass a color vision test.
- Ability to accurately see and distinguish colors and color variations.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to stand, bend, walk, and perform inspection tasks for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 55lbs during final inspection.
- Ability to multitask, including working in the quarantine inspection area.
- Ability to adapt to schedule changes and shifting priorities.
Pay: $19.00 - $19.50 per hour
