Supply Chain Officer

Alshamel Medical Laboratories Management Co.-Sharq, Kuwait

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate end-to-end supply chain operations from procurement to final delivery.
  • Request and follow up on supplier quotations (RFQs) and evaluate supplier performance.
  • Plan inventory requirements and monitor stock levels to avoid shortages and overstock situations.
  • Analyze supply and demand trends to support purchasing and inventory decisions.
  • Coordinate inbound shipments, customs clearance, transportation, and delivery schedules.
  • Verify HS codes, product classifications, and compliance requirements for incoming shipments.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update the system with item details, stock movements, and new inventory.
  • Generate product codes and barcodes for new items and ensure proper product organization.
  • Supervise the receiving of new shipments and containers, ensuring accurate quantity verification and item registration.
  • Visit the warehouse and oversee stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
  • Create sales invoices and prepare inventory, shipment, and operational reports.
  • Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.
  • Supervise warehouse operations and ensure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting operational issues, inventory discrepancies, and recommendations for improvement.
