Overview
This position shifts can vary from 7am start to 11pm finish, Monday to Sunday. This can include weekends, Bank Holiday's, school holiday's, Christmas etc.
Due to our location, you would need to drive, as we are in a remote part of the New Forest.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and drinks in accordance with health and safety guidelines
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables during service periods
- Support barista duties if required, including preparing coffee and beverages
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including catering options and special promotions
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred
- Knowledge of catering, serving, and food preparation techniques is desirable
- Barista experience is a plus but not essential
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests
- A friendly, approachable demeanour with a professional attitude
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
