Job Title: Maintenance Manager - Aluminium IndustryJob Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all maintenance activities for plant machinery and equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Ensure smooth functioning of aluminium production/extrusion/fabrication machinery.
- Monitor equipment performance and minimize downtime through effective troubleshooting.
- Lead, train, and manage maintenance technicians and engineering staff.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure operational efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Control maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor coordination.
- Prepare maintenance reports, KPIs, and operational documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and equipment reliability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance management within the aluminium industry.
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Experience in aluminium extrusion, fabrication, rolling mill, or manufacturing plants preferred.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and ERP/CMMS software is an advantage.
- GCC experience preferred.
