Description
We need a sharp, data-driven buyer to manage global aerospace sourcing, handle critical AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations, and guarantee 100% compliance with international aviation regulations. If you can read a BOM, negotiate with OEMs, and track parts down to the exact certificate under tight deadlines, this is for you.
What You'll Own
- Aero-Sourcing: Procure aircraft components, avionics, rotables, and MRO services based on engineering demands.
- AOG Management: Execute high-priority, rapid-response purchasing to minimize aircraft downtime.
- Vendor Operations: Negotiate pricing, warranty terms, and turnaround times (TAT) with global OEMs and distributors.
- Compliance: Verify all parts carry mandatory release certificates (FAA Form 8130-3, EASA Form 1, etc.).
- Data Tracking: Use Excel and aviation ERPs to manage repair loops, track spend, and audit supplier KPIs.
The Checklist
- Experience: 3+ years in aviation procurement or aerospace supply chain.
- Compliance Savvy: Solid grasp of FAA/EASA certifications and part conditions (New, OH, SV).
- Tech Skills: Advanced Excel (data tracking, spend analysis) + aviation ERP experience.
- Languages: Professional fluency in both English and Arabic.
- Core Traits: High-pressure problem solver, contract-literate, and hyper-detailed with documentation.
