The Global Betting Platform (‘gbp') is Flutter's flagship proprietary sports betting platform and is being used by multiple Brands across the Group to power delivery of new Sports betting features at pace. Today the gbp product enables the generate of 33% of the total Flutter Group Sportsbook online revenue and has around 1.7m active customers across the multiple brands transacting on it.

Currently, the gbp Platform has several dependencies that limit our ability to innovate and differentiate the experience we can provide to our customers. As such, we are undertaking a strategic initiative (‘gbp Evolution') to simplify the gbp platform, remove dependencies and create a truly world-class sports betting platform to power the Group.

The Role...

Reporting to the Head of Product, the Product Manager will manage scope and prioritization of the gbp evolution initiative. They will also assist the Head of Product in setting the product direction and vision for the tribe.

You will be obsessed with how Flutter's various brands use ‘gbp' to power their sportsbook products, using data and insights to ensure the delivery of the tribe aligns to business value.

You will work closely with the brand Product teams to align and prioritise brand needs as part of the overall GBP evolution delivery. Additionally, you will engage with a broader community of product managers across the Flutter group to share and leverage best practice to improve performance and efficiency.

What You'll Be Doing...
- Product Management:

  • Contribute to the ‘gbp' product strategy
  • Capture and translate brand and strategic needs into requirements and priorities
  • Be responsible for developing and maintaining the GBP Evolution roadmap, ensuring it is aligned to the ‘gbp' Strategy and goals
  • Be the source of truth for scope for the tribe, assuring the tribe is laser focussed on the outcome and prevent scope creep
  • Provide clear product direction and focus on measurable outcomes and success metrics, not solutions
  • Be metric obsessed by defining, monitoring and reporting on product and customer KPIs, aligned to Flutter strategic goals
  • Work with the broader ‘gbp' Product team to clearly articulate the “why” behind initiatives
  • Understand distinct brand priorities and painpoints for ‘gbp' and ensure all brands perspective is factored into decision making
  • Work with brand and divisional teams to gather and manage product feedback through surveys, internal user research, data & analytics
  • Look for global product synergies and look to drive relationships across the group
  • Engage with a wide range of product and commercial stakeholders across the Flutter Group to communicate the 'gbp' evolution priorities and align where needed
  • Ensure all initiatives have defined customer needs, clearly articulated business cases and time-based success metrics that are agreed with key stakeholders.
  • Work with the tribe leadership to:

  • Contribute to the evolution of the Tribe

  • Contribute to recruitment and onboarding, helping to develop repeatable, scalable processes for both.
  • Be an evangelist of the behaviours, skills, and values that the ‘gbp' evolution tribe stand for.
  • Contribute to the wider ‘gbp' community.
  • Build strong working relationships with Product delivery, Project management and technology leadership
  • Mentor junior members of the tribe

What We're Looking For...

  • We hope you have...
  • A Bachelors or Masters degree. A business or technology discipline would be desirable
  • Digital product management experience is essential
  • Experience owning complex online products and working with senior stakeholders
  • Knowledge of the sports betting industry would be an advantage
  • A result driven person with an action-oriented approach. Pursue work with energy and drive.
  • Strong relationship management skills. Ability to relate to both business and technical specialists
  • Is resilient and confident under pressure and maintains a positive attitude despite adversity.
